With excellent all year round climate, Cabo Roig enjoys over 300 days of sunshine each and every year, the micro climate generated by the nearby salt lakes provides one of the healthiest climates in the world according to the World Health Organisation. Temperatures can hit 40 degrees centigrade in the height of the summer (July, but mainly August), either side of July and August are ideal for vacation here if you want to miss the very hot months.

There are many shopping centers within a short drive, local markets are held on different days of the week and there is lots of local traditions that are a must to come and see.
The "Cabo Roig Strip" is central and well known to Cabo Roig for its variety of bars, restaurants and shops on offer, the nightlife is vibrant and lively in the season months - for both those that wish to party until the early hours or simply enjoy a night out with friends and family. With the Spanish way of life being very family orientated, it is common to see children out late with their families ... Cabo Roig is definitely a child friendly holiday for families.
Cabo Roig borders Campoamor to the south and La Zenia to the north, there are many towns within a ten minute drive, which includes Playa Flamenca and the largest town in the area ... Torrevieja. Playa Flamenca boasts a large commercial centre and is probably best known for the Go Kart track that is popular all year round.
Torrevieja has a new shopping centre called "Habanaras" with a great variety of shops, restaurants, a cinema, casino and bowling alley. Just over the bridge from Habanaras is the Water Park (Aquopolis), one of the largest Aqua Parks on the Costa Blanca and is great fun for all ages!
