During the boom years in Real Estate on the Costa Blanca, thousands upon thousands of overseas buyers took to Spain to invest in the Spanish property market, many were enticed by the buy to let market as the financial rewards were enough to pay a mortgage off by itself!
So you will find many British and/or Irish second home owners looking to rent out their property all year round, many of them will have bookings from repeat clients, family or friends visiting - however, many will be struggling to fill the calendar all year round, which can only be good for you!
There are hundreds of properties for rent long term and short term, prices range from as little as 150 euros to 1,000 euros plus depending if you want to rent a small two bedroom apartment or if you wish to splash out and treat yourself and your family to a luxury first-line beach villa.
But everything is negotiable in terms of price! Going through a private owner will save you on commission costs that Property Management companies earn, however some times it is better to have the peace of mind that comes with an established company, especially when you are on a "no stress" holiday abroad.

There are endless amounts of websites offering holiday rental apartments and villas, you may see adverts for them on TV such as Rightmove or Prime Location. However, there are better ones catering for Spain only and for rental properties - Spain-Holiday.com, Holiday-Rentals.co.uk and HolidayLettings.co.uk just to name a few.
